At Harvey Hams there are currently 4 Syrian residents. Our Syrians are a mixture of show hamsters and rescued hamsters. All are beloved pets and companions.
Colin came to us in May 2008 as a rescue hamster at around 5 months old. He took a little time to get used to us, but is now quite content and enjoys his cuddles. Colin's favourite things to do are trotting in his ball, sniffing things and running in his wheel. He's a very content little chap. |
Oswald was born 13th August 2008. He is the son of Ruby and Oscar, brother of Hugo and Trixie. He very cuddley and soppy. When he is sitting on people he makes chuntling noises, which is very unusual for a hamster! His favourite things to do are running in his wheel or ball and having cuddles! |
Hamish, born 26/02/09, arrived recently from Mythic hams. He is the grandson of Ruby and Oscar.
Hamish is confident, cheeky and has loads of energy. He is very intelligent and will often sit listening to noises or watching people; you can see the cogs turning as he is figuring out the world around him. Hamish is the first mink hamster i've ever had; i've wanted one for some time. His coat will gain orangey tones as he ages. A mink hamster is genetically a red-eyed cream with the umbrous gene added. |
Cloud is the brother of Hamish, although didn't arrive here until he was 6 months old as he was originally intended for another owner, but was never actually collected. He is a lovely gentle soul, who takes life at a leisurely pace. His favourite things to do include sitting on his hammock and slowly trotting about the place in his ball. |
